The Multi-Annual Indicative Planning Document (MIPD) for Albania, implemented on the basis of the allocations
foreseen in the MIFF, decribes for every priority sector the
deficiencies that still need to be filled and what has been done in the
country thanks to IPA and other donors. It also identifies the future
goals in compliance with the National Strategy for Development and Integration 2007-2013.
Management of IPA funds
The funds can be managed according to one of these modalities:
- Centralised management: the European Commission in Bruxelles and the
local UE Delegation in the beneficiary country directly manage the
assistance
- Decentralised management: after an accreditation procedure, the authorities of the beneficiary country manage the funds
- Delegated management: the assistance is managed by one of the EU
Member States taking part in the programme or by an international
organization.
